Jumpsations
The Jumpsations Rope Skipping Team entered its 8th competitive season this year, as well as it’s 3rd season with a recreational team. Unfortunately we lost a valuable coach in September, we all miss Becky so much, but know she is watching us!
The team consists of 29 members, aged 8-16. There are 6 competitive groups this year all vying for a spot in Halifax.
Many of our team attended the US skipping camp in Indiana in the summer as well as performing at the Dundas Cactus Festival and the CNE. They continued to demonstrate their skills at the Santa Claus parades in Hamilton and Waterdown in November. 11 of our skippers also chose to attend the 2008 Michigan Invitational Championships in Brighton at the beginning of February. They competed against the US teams and had a wonderful representation not only on the podiums, but also during challenges. The Jumpsations are pleased to have back many coaches from last season - Shannon Fox, Leanne Melloh, Christina Pereira and Dayle McCauley. We are happy to welcome Amanda Taylor back from her year in Europe, and her wedding in September. We also welcome Chelsey Jess and Lynda Pereira to the coaching staff!

Georgian Jumpers will be host to the 2010 Provincial competition Saturday, March 27th 2010 & Sunday, March 28th 2010 in Parry Sound, Ontario.
