Hamilton Hoppers
The Hamilton Hoppers, formed in 1982, currently has a membership of 26 young athletes ranging in age from 8 to 19.
The team promotes rope skipping by performing demonstrations in and around the Hamilton/Toronto area at Festivals, schools, community events and for individual groups and organizations. Last season the team performed at the First Night Toronto festival held at the Skydome and the United Way Sponsored P&G Leaps and Bounds Walkathon in Nathan Philips Square in Toronto. Senior members of the team were video taped for a music video by Kid Kut, a Toronto artist.
Over the years, team members have won numerous awards at Regional, Provincial and National Competitions, have appeared on several TV programs and have been honored with Civic Sports Achievement Awards.
The team is coached by Heather Halliday and Lisa Muldoon.

Georgian Jumpers will be host to the 2010 Provincial competition Saturday, March 27th 2010 & Sunday, March 28th 2010 in Parry Sound, Ontario.
