Services
We provide academic, career, personal and attendance counselling. These services are offered to assist students in locating and using school, community, health, educational and career resources which will help them realize their personal, educational and career goals.
Academic Counselling includes course selection and planning, post-secondary program requirements, levels of diffic
ulty and implications, direct work entry and apprenticeship information.
Career Counselling includes supplying information on the career development process, career search and course planning as well as programs such as Take Our Kids to Work.
Personal Counselling is available if you wish to discuss personal or interpersonal problems. Referrals are made to the school social worker, board staff, or outside agencies when appropriate.
Attendance Counselling is provided when referrals are made by teachers, parents or school administration.
